We’ve hinted at this before, but now it’s so official our ears are bleeding… Proyekto 011 is a compilation CDR of certain highlights from our first 10 releases. It will be available on the site digitally soon and officially released in shops and online on November 15, 2008.

The record will be hand-packaged and come with the fantastic cover art above by Mike Jacobs, our resident designer, and an amazing remix/master job by Luke Iannini.

Terminator X Packs The Jam! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!

Umm… Anyway. Mike and I will be liveblogging our recording sessions for the next two weeks in beautiful San Francisco. Expect some new tracks snippets, lyrics on glass, influence mixes and grainy photography. Sounds adequate, right?

Extra Golden, Mahmoud Ahmed, Alemayehu Eshete, the Either/Orchestra, the Ex, and Gétatchèw Mèkurya appear at the Damrosch Park Bandshell as part of Lincoln Center’s “Out of Doors” August 20.

here are two more demos from the forthcoming – and as-of-yet untitled – brando skirts record. the first huge push for this album will take place at the end of august as mike and i enter the lab with intentions to slaughter. tracking should be done by january 2009 with a release late spring/early summer (ozu style!)…
