another idea i’ve had lately is to create one-off songs for each member of the inner-circle. this will obviously be an abstract enterprise – a dedication, a new viewpoint, a nostalgia trip, a futurism…

so earlier tonight i asked mike to send me suggestions for three potential songs to record a cover of before the morning.

1. devo – too much paranoias
2. microphones – the sun and bird
3. kraftwerk – autobahn

i chose ole phil elverum and went at it. we are all creatively pumped (!) by the results, so the plan is that all three of us are just gonna start reeling these out. one night. one song. who cares about sloppiness!
