so everyday around 9am i fire up the classic NYC Hot 97 on my computer and love it. all the beefs, rappers getting shot by their own entourage for credibility, funkmaster flex — it’s great! but this morning i was thinking that i would really love to get back into radio and do a little on-air situation for all the hiphop fans out here. the following is my application:

in actuality, these are all bands from brooklyn with songs released in 2007 (except the two rap impresarios from queens). most of these artists have been around for awhile but are really evolving in fascinating ways.

so being that proyekto is all about the FUTURE, i’ve decided to submit a preemptive response to the simutaneous releases of the new kanye and 50 cent albums. i took “can’t tell me nothin (got to get my money right)” and threw it right on top off “i get money”. then i added a vomit-inducing delay.
